The menu is nothing short of a feast for the senses. Their signature The Griddle Waffle is a crisp, golden masterpiece that beckons with a slightly caramelized edge, while the Poached Y Papas Benedict offers a rich, velvety experience, with perfectly poached eggs nestling on tender potatoes, draped in luscious hollandaise. For those who love a vibrant, protein-packed start, the Chicago Charlie's Scramble is a generous plate brimming with fluffy eggs, savory meats, and fresh flavors that guests like John rave about as “a great scramble that really hits the spot.”

If you have a sweet tooth, the Banana Pancakes and the irresistibly decadent Creme De La Creme French Toast are not to be missed. Layered with ripe bananas and topped with whipped cream or dusted with powdered sugar, these offerings deliver comfort and indulgence with every forkful. Doro Beleche sums it up perfectly—“The portions are HUGE! And the dishes are delicious! The atmosphere is incredible. Ideal for brunch or a breakfast date.”

Beyond the food, The Griddle Cafe has perfected the beverage menu, featuring French-pressed coffee and creamy cappuccinos that pair beautifully with each bite. For those seeking something refreshing, freshly squeezed juices or their complimentary refill fountain sodas complement the meal without overpowering the palate.

What truly stands out about The Griddle Cafe is its blend of generous portions and meticulously crafted flavors—a combination that brings guests back again and again. Whether you’re diving into the rich layers of the Say Cheese Omelette packed with three cheeses or delighting in the zesty kick of the Omelette My Soul with green chiles and fresh avocado, every dish is thoughtfully prepared to create a memorable breakfast experience.

The welcoming staff and grounded, unpretentious vibe make it feel like a neighborhood treasure, where visitors can relax, indulge, and enjoy a hearty meal without fuss. As Isabel Colorado highlights, it’s a place that “feels ‘prepandemic’ — huge portions, reasonable prices, good coffee, unpretentious and completely delicious.”

AMAZING!! Found this gem on a recent trip to the Los Angeles area Food: delicious and enormous portions. I had the Chicago Charlie Scramble, which really hit the spot. A great scramble. My wife and I split the Bananana pancakes. Highly recommend the pancakes--- and order will take up a third of the table and you likely won't eat it all, but well worth it Service: quick and friendly. Our waitress was wonderful Highly recommend!

This place screams: Hollywood The portions are HUGE! And the dishes are delicious! There is always a nice waitress ready to serve you and the atmosphere is incredible. Ideal for brunch or a breakfast date. Do not underestimate the size of the sweets! Important: Pay your Park Meter!!!! Cops are always checking them!! 10/10 Hands down the best breakfast in town.

We had a very nice experience at the Griddle Cafe. We had their famous Pancake and cheese omelette for breakfast. The service is super friendly and welcoming staff.

Ugh I love this place. It feels “pre-pandemic” - huge portions, reasonable prices, good coffee, unpretentious and completely delicious! They have bottomless mimosas which I simply cannot partake in anymore but pre-2020 LA me would have been all over that. It’s where you bring your visitors who are cooler than the overpriced hot spots in town, you know? Love it.

I don’t remember what these were called officially, but I’ll call them breakfast nachos. They were fantastic. Very fresh ingredients and filling! We also had the French toast instead of the highly recommended pancakes. Go with the pancakes if you want something special.

Was able to get seated with no wait; restaurant has a nice setup with regular tables as well as an almost hibachi style diner setup with a nice view into the kitchen. Ordered the ‘Hash it Out’ dish - diced potatoes, ground turkey, over-medium eggs, cheese and garlic bread with hot sauce on the side. By itself the dish was average but the hot sauce helped add flavour to it. Waitress was well mannered and always had a smile on her face which was nice. Solid spot!

Very nice place for breakfast. For 2 adults on a Friday morning we only had to wait 10min around 11am. One stack of 3 pancakes here is a LOT. They were lovely, would have like more caramel on ours. Service was excellent and friendly! Would definitely recommend Its very loud in there so probably not the best place if you want to catch up with friends and have a conversation!
